In 2017 the PGA International Golf Institute (PGA IGI) introduced a brand new October intake for students to commence their study in the Diploma of Golf Management.
This new intake has proven a popular choice with International students. The October intake for 2017 has seen students begin their PGA IGI journey in Australia from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, China and Belgium.
“It is exciting to see student’s from around the world embrace our new October intake that we now have on offer,” said Luke Bryden, PGA IGI Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager.
“The students will join our other students who began their study in our February and July intakes in 2017, undertaking Australia’s only Diploma of Golf Management qualification.”
Studying at the PGA IGI Campus on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast, students study for one year in the nationally recognised qualification 10459NAT Diploma of Golf Management.
“The Diploma of Golf Management focuses on the business, management and operations that make up the golf industry as we know it today,” explained Bryden.
“This one-of-a-kind qualification has been the stepping stone for many graduates to begin their careers in the golf industry. We look forward to following the journey of our new students towards their careers in golf.”
Students studying can combine practical golf coaching and training for game development with their studies. It is the perfect qualification for people with a passion for golf, allowing students to play golf whilst they study.
“We look forward to seeing the students grow across the year ahead and in to the future following their graduation from the PGA IGI,” said Bryden.
Students have already begun to apply for entry in 2018 in to the Diploma of Golf Management. Applications are being accepted for 2018 intakes which begin in February, April, July and October.
