E-Learning

The Advanced Diploma of Management is a distance study program, delivered entirely through online learning. Students will complete their study via the PGA’s e-learning platform, The Fairway.

Throughout the duration of study, The Fairway is your home as a student. On The Fairway, you will find all of your e-learning resources, such as your unit readings, assessment items and access point to your PGA Institute Program Manager. Assessment items as part of the study are designed to benefit you in your club management environment.
During the duration of the Advanced Diploma of Management, you will have access to webcasts and webinar sessions in selected units of competency. These will be delivered by industry professionals in their areas of expertise, providing you with current industry trends and knowledge associated with the program of study.

Course Content

The BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management provides targeted education in business and management for club managers. Program content focuses on specific skills and knowledge required by a club manager in today’s industry – providing further education for future career development for students.

The qualification BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management is comprised of 10 units of competency. These cover specific content such as:

All students studying the qualification have the opportunity to apply for direct credit or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. Course duration for the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management is a maximum of two years.

How to Apply

Applications to study the Advanced Diploma of Management program are open throughout the year, with new students able to commence in their chosen monthly intake.

Entry requirements for the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management are:

  • Completion of Australia Year 12 studies, or higher education qualification to:
  • Completion of a Business Diploma or a resume demonstrating a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or operational role
