Program Overview
On-Campus Delivery:
This one-year course is delivered at the Sandhurst Club, PGA Learning Hub. Classes run Monday to Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Students can also opt to participate in the Golf Development Program, held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on the same days.
Online Delivery:
Our flexible online option allows students up to two years to complete the course, making it easier to balance study with other commitments. The program is entirely self-paced, with no mandatory live sessions, so you can complete coursework at a time that suits you. Trainer and assessor support is available whenever you need assistance.

Student completing the Diploma of Golf Business & Management on campus have the opportunity to enrol in our tailored Group Coaching Program delivered by the PGA Academy. This Golf Development Program is designed to enhance your golf skills through consistent coaching and training, helping you achieve a higher standard of play that aligns with your career goals.
Working with PGA Academy coaches, you’ll engage in a comprehensive, three-day-per-week program that incorporates proven long-term training methodologies. This program takes an educational approach to improvement, with focused practice sessions, unlimited golf access, and gym conditioning classes specifically designed to support your growth as a golfer.
Based at the PGA Golf Learning Hub at the Sandhurst Club, your program includes full membership benefits, such as:
- Access to 36 holes of championship golf
- Unlimited range balls
- Use of top-tier practice facilities

Higher Education Pathways



We have partnerships with Deakin University, Griffith University and Holmesglen TAFE, providing pathways into a variety of business and sports management degrees.
Pathways allow for a staged approach to achieving career goals in the golf industry. This could involve starting with the Diploma of Golf Business & Management, which equips you with the essential skills and knowledge required to seamlessly progress to an Advanced Diploma level program, pursue a Bachelor’s degree, or explore further higher education opportunities.

PATHWAY TO BECOMING A PGA PROFESSIONAL
Successful graduates in the Diploma of Golf Business & Management may be able to access PGA pathways into the PGA Member Pathway Program(MPP). These pathways are available for those who wish to turn their passion for golf into a career as a Full Vocational Member of the PGA of Australia (PGA Professional).
Completion of this course will give students a credit for year 3 academics of the MPP, potentially allowing the completion of the MPP in 2 years instead of 3 (assuming the completion of workplace and playing requirements)
