BSB50120 Diploma of Business is a competency-based qualification. It aims to provide students with learning outcomes to gain specialised knowledge of the business world to enhance their career and expand potential professional careers and open doors to the corporate world. 

The Diploma of Business provides a comprehensive view of the business world. Students have access to a variety of theory and practical learning opportunities, which provides specialised knowledge and high-level understanding to prepare for careers in the corporate sector. This qualification provides a broad range of skill-sets that are highly valued by successful organisations, including communicating with influence, managing budgets and finance, sustainability, developing business plans and risk management. The successful completion of this program contains 12 units of competency:

Entry Requirements

  • All students studying the BSB50120 Diploma of Business must meet the following entry requirements:
    • Be aged 18 years of age or older
    • Successful completion school year 12 or other higher education qualification; or successfully complete LLN Assessment Test with the PGA IGI, exceptions to year 12 may be applied for 
    • Minimum IELTS overall band score 5.5 or equivalent English language proficiency level 

    International Students

    *Where required, students must successfully complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment
